Waste disposal and planing and zoning is on line.  A few emails do come into the office.

Jennifer has been asking Town of Brighton for a few improvements to our office.  Asked for a screen door - that’s out.  She asked about cleaning and painting - Brighton agreed to do it.  No date, regarding pigeon problem - no results.  Jennifer asked for a lease update and a copy - no results their either.  Jennifer will pursue this until she gets results.  David Lafoe suggested we offer money for the paint job.

VLTC audit will be May 23rd.  W4 forms must be filled out for listers and form 1099 will be used also for the help.

Our maps are nearly done.  Forest Service has checked these maps.

David Lafoe said when we send out changes of appraisal we are going to send copies of the maps.

Jennifer suggested we make up a smaller version of the map that could go with a flyer to be given out at Town Meeting.  Jennifer asked about getting a vertical file cabinet with clamps to hold our maps and that the maps should all be listed and indexed.

David Lafoe made a motion to pursue the purchase of a fire-proof map holder.  Howard seconded..

Dave Snedeker said we are planning on getting a spread sheet from Guildhall on the transportation money due us.  Still no developments, waiting for them to get back to us.

Ambulance service - haven’t got anywhere with this yet.  Jennifer will be speaking to Colebrook, N.H.  She has names and will be working on this.

Talked about hi-speed internet.  That AT&T has bought out Cingular. This will change cell phone service.

David Snedeker asked when we should start looking for money for the new Town Office.  Grant money could be available.  We should start planning for our office.  What we want: Solar Panels!  We want to be a show place for wind towers, green energy, etc.  Clean a space, put up a picnic table and a sign on site.  We need to research the minimum requirements for a town office.
