Commonly known as the UTG, the towns & gores that make up our area are Averill, Avery's Gore, Ferdinand, Lewis, Warner's Grant and Warren Gore.

We try to keep the office open daily between 9a.m. and 2p.m., but it is best to call before you come.  The Supervisor and staff are sometimes out in the woods.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Unified Towns and Gores hereby invites General Contractors to submit sealed Bids for construction of a new 1,536 SF wood framed Municipal Office Building to be located on Route 105 in Ferdinand, Vermont. Bids will be Lump Sum and include all trades required for a complete project.  Any contract(s) awarded will be funded in part by grant money from USDA Rural Development – Community Facilities Program. Contractors will be required to provide insurance and a 100% Performance and Payment Bond covering the performance of said work. Minority businesses are encouraged to Bid.  Interested contractors can review and obtain plans at the office of Mark G. Stewart, Architect located at 95 Main Street in Newport, Vermont. A Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 9:30 AM at the Offices of the Unified Towns and Gores located in the Old Railroad Station at 23 East Brighton Road in Island Pond, Vermont with a site visit to follow. All Bidders are urged to attend.
